About the West Palm Beach IAHSP Regional ChapterThe West Palm Beach IAHSP® Regional Chapter was founded in January 2008. We offer monthly streamlined meetings that include a program on a timely topic of interest to our members. While our membership is still small, we are growing and find great benefit to our individual businesses by raising awareness throughout Palm Beach County to the benefits of hiring professional ASP® designated Stagers. January 28, 2008 The Palm Beach County PBC IAHSP Regional Chapter held its inaugural meeting today, and welcomed many local area Home Staging Professionals from throughout the region, including, North Palm Beach, Jupiter, Wellington, Boynton Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. The chapter was founded to foster growth, professional business standards, promote ethics, and provide networking amongst peers who work with realtors and sellers in preparing homes for sale. Members must be currently providing Home Staging services in the region, and have the Accredited Staging Professional® (ASP) or Accredited Staging professional Master (ASPM) designations approved by IAHSP. In addition, members must be licensed and uphold the standards of service as outlined by the regional chapter. The PBC IAHSP Regional Chapter (PBCIRC) meets the 4th Tuesday of every month. Dues are $15.00 per month for members , and $150.00 for membership in the International Association. The PBCIRC also welcomes affiliate membersships to businesses who offer services and/or products used by Home Staging Designers and allow them to market directly to the membership and their clients. The PBCIRC will market the benefits of Home Staging throughout the communities represented by the chapter members. Members must join the International Association of Home Staging Professionals® (IAHSP) ($150.00 annually) and remain in current good standing as long as they are members of their local chapter. Members must also be current ASPs in good standing. We welcome Affiliate Business Members - companies, vendors or service providers who support our Staging efforts. Affiliate Business Membership will include annual fees of $150.00. This fee goes directly to support chapter marketing and advertising and allows Affiliate Business members to market directly to our membership as well as host our meetings as scheduled. Each member introduced themselves and we learned about Marketing efforts. which included realtor presentations,and other forms of advertisement . Fernando reminded us of the new real estate listing requirements for the StagedHomes.com web site and the upcoming Convention in July. Announcements: September 8-12 is World Wide Staging Service Week (WWSSW). We were asked to think of suggestions for our project. Two suggestions were to Stage a hoarder`s home or a Stage a nursing home waiting area and providing new bedding for their rooms. Victoria brought us all "party favors" in the form of Sherwinn Williams color kits.Thank You Victoria! Fernando passed out brochure and business cards for California Closet Company. As usual, Fernando offered us a fabulous lunch! Thank You Mr. President! |
